Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency in market value, crossed $ 50,000 for the first time in four weeks on Tuesday, adding to its continued gains since early October.
Shares of cryptocurrency and blockchain-related companies traded higher that day, and cryptocurrency fell below that level on September 7th. It continued to fall in September, falling to $ 40,596 on September 21st.
On Tuesday, Bitcoin rose 2.35 percent to $ 50,398.10.
Cryptocurrency investment products and funds recorded earnings for the seventh week in a row, as data from digital asset manager Coinshares showed on Monday as institutional investors were hot on more supportive statements from regulators.
