Earling Pratt Holland said he would miss Norway’s upcoming World Cup qualifier on Monday with a club injury to his club Borussia Dortmund. The 21-year-old striker has missed the German team’s last three games with the issue and will be sidelined for international matches in Turkey on Friday and in Montenegro on Monday. “Hi folks, sorry for not being able to prepare for the national tournament. I was looking forward to it. Congratulations to Norway anyway,” Hollande tweeted.
Norwegian team doctor Ola Sand Hollande said the withdrawal was a precautionary measure.

“The injury seems to have subsided, but unfortunately its evolution has been very slow,” he said in a statement to the Norwegian Football Federation.
“There are also risks of complications if he returns quickly.”
Norway, who are second only to the Netherlands in goal difference in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, will be without forward Alexander Sorlot and Joshua King.
