Facebook on Friday introduced a new page experience for users in India, making it easier for the general public and creators to build community and achieve their business objectives. The new design will make it more convenient to follow others from one’s newsfeed and share likes and comments on updates from one’s own page.
Viewing BIOS, posts and other important information will now be easier, making it easier for users to navigate between personal profile and public page. Newspapers dedicated to pages for the first time will bring new ways to engage by discovering and joining conversations. This will make it easier to follow trends, interact with colleagues and engage with fans.
The featured news feed will suggest new links to a page or other public person, pages, groups and popular content that the public cares about.
In addition, page conversations are now more visible to a wider audience and are often found in followers’ news feeds. In addition, the comments of public figures will be placed at the top of the comment section. People’s comments and suggestions can follow pages directly from posts.
Introducing a new text-based question and answer format to remove options and focus on followers, making it easier for people to link to their favorite pages. Followers of a page can now receive updates from their favorite pages.
Updated task-based administrative controls will now make page management more convenient, especially with the ability to clearly assign and manage administrator access and assign permissions based on specific tasks.
Now, page administrators will be given full or different levels of access to manage specific tasks, including intelligence, ads, content and social activity and news. Increased visibility of verified badges makes it easier to identify posts and comments from real pages and profiles. Also, in a public post on another page the comments of the verified page may appear more in the comments section and be visible in the news feed.
As new changes are introduced, some of the key issues that remain unchanged include content, posts and page information, existing ads and campaignsAnd existing administrative rights.
