The Chinese company has announced through its official Romanian website that the Huawei Nova Series smartphones will be officially launched globally on October 21st. The company announced a launch event in Vienna, Austria, at the time, it was not known what was launched. Now, at least the Noah series date has been confirmed. Rumor has it that the company may launch the Huawei Nova 9, Huawei Nova 9 Pro and some other smartphones that have been launched in various markets over the last few months.
The smartphone in the banner of the official website of Huawei Romania looks like the Huawei Nova 9 and Huawei 9 Pro. Launched in China in September, these smartphones have a quad rear camera system similar to the rear camera module. It is speculated that the company may launch other smartphones, including the Huawei Nova 8i, which was launched in Malaysia earlier this year and the Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition, which was launched in China in July.
Huawei Nova 9 and Huawei 9 Pro specifications
The Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro dual SIM (Nano) smartphones run on HarmonyOS 2, which is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). The Huawei Nova 9 features a 6.57-inch Full HD + (1,080×2,340 pixels) LED display with curved edges. The Pro variant gets a large 6.72-inch Full-HD + (1,236×2,676) pixels OLED display. Both the phones offer 120 Hz refresh rate and 300 Hz touch sample rate and B3 width color range. Under the hood, both models get an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with 8GB of RAM.
The Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro have the same quad rear camera system with an 8-megapixel ultra-white shooter with f / 1.9 lens with the same megapixel primary sensor. The rear camera system also has a 2 megapixel depth sensor and a 2 megapixel macro shooter with LED flash. As for the front camera, the Huawei Nova 9 comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The Huawei Nova 9 Pro features a dual selfie camera system with a 32-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 32-megapixel portrait shooter.
Both the devices come with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS / A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. Internal sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer and proximity sensor. Both the phones have in-display fingerprint sensor. While the Huawei Nova 9 packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 66W superfast charging, the Huawei 9 Pro packs a 4,000mAh battery with a 100W superfast charge.
