Tuning your guitar is easier than ever, thanks to the functionality of smartphones with the help of a qualified tuning processor or by using Google Assistant. Google has now confirmed that it will make this process even easier for users. The company introduces a colorful tuner into the search.
According to a report Android Police, Google has already started releasing this new search feature that can be accessed on almost any device. Earlier assistants could play their guitar using the Google Assistant function, which required a device to access the voice assistant.
For comparison, you can use the new feature by searching on mobile or desktop. Users can type; “Google Tuner” it will appear at the top of the results page.
Note that the device you use to listen to your instrument must have a functional microphone. You must grant permission to access the tuner feature.
The cited source states that the performance of the feature depends on the microphone of the device you are using. Although you may need to play louder or closer to some devices, smartphones are expected to perform better than computers when using this feature.
The tuner informs users whether their instrument is in tune or needs to be adjusted with the help of a display indicator. Google also offers other music-related features, including “Hum to Search”, to help identify the songs that are stuck in your head.
