Looking for a way to preview WhatsApp before sending voice messages? WhatsApp released a preview voice message feature this week, allowing users to review its draft before sharing their audio recordings with others. You can preview your voice messages before sending them in a private series or group chat. The update helps to avoid sending voice messages that are completely meaningless or require updates with some modifications. To see if your audio is clear, you can turn it back on before sending your voice message.
WhatsApp has introduced Voice Message Preview for Android and iOS and all users on the Internet or desktop.
In this article, we provide you with the steps you need to take to preview your WhatsApp voice messages before sending them to your contacts.
How To Use WhatsApp Voice Message Preview
Before you start the steps to use the Voice Message preview feature, make sure you have the latest WhatsApp version on your device.
Open individual or group chat on WhatsApp.
Hold down the microphone button next to the message text box and then slide up to lock hands-free recording. In the web and desktop versions of WhatsApp, you do not need to slide up, as both provide hands-free recording after clicking the microphone.
Now, start speaking your voice message.
Tap the Stop button to complete the recording.
Press the play button to hear your record. You can go to a specific area of your post by tapping the search bar.
You can press the send button if your message is relevant and ready to share. Otherwise, tap the Trash to delete your voice message and repeat the steps above to record one again.
