India sees the lowest one-day rise in Govt cases in nearly 7 months

In the last 24 hours, 18,166 new Govt-19 cases have been reported in India. 214 people have died due to corona in the country.

Here are the top 10 updates on corona virus in India:

  1. Active Govt-19 cases in India accounted for 0.68 per cent of the total epidemics, the lowest since March 2020 — the current lowest number of cases is 2,30,971, the lowest in 208 days.

  2. The National Govt-19 recovery rate is 97.99 percent, the highest since March 2020. At least 23,624 rescues in last 24 hours Total recovery in India is 3,32,71,915.

  3. The daily positive rate – the number of positive cases identified per 100 – is 1.42 percent, down from 3 percent in the last 41 days. The weekly positive rate in India is 1.57 per cent.

  4. India’s overall COVID-19 vaccine coverage exceeds 94.70 crore. Federal Health Minister Mansuk Mandavia has called for an increase in vaccination speeds for 19 states so that India can administer 100 crore vaccines in the next few days, and warned that the Govt-19 control track could be derailed if festivals are not celebrated in accordance with protocols.

  5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the ongoing Govt-19 vaccination drive in India and congratulated the people for making the vaccination drive in India a success.

  6. In Delhi, 30 new Govt-19 cases have been reported, while the positive rate is 0.05 per cent. No new Govt deaths have been reported in the national capital.

  7. The Bengal government has asked people to avoid crowded places saying that the epidemic is not over yet as many people have started seeing more and more Durga Puja pavilions before the actual festival starts. Meanwhile, at least 12 people have died due to the Govt, with a death toll of 18,894 and a case number of 15,75,577 with 776 new cases registered.

  8. After a four-day break, Kerala recorded 10,000 cases down to -9,470 and 101 deaths, taking the case to 47,84,109 and the death toll to 26,173.

  9. Maharashtra has reported 2,486 new cases of new corona virus, an increase of 65,75,578 cases and 44 deaths to 1,39,514, according to the health department.

  10. Chennai, Coimbatore and neighboring Chengalpattu districts accounted for the bulk of the new Govt-19 outbreaks as Tamil Nadu added 1,344 new cases, raising the case load to 26,76,936.
