The iPhone SE (2022) is said to launch in the spring of next year. The smartphone is expected to feature the latest Apple A15 bionic chip and offer 5G connectivity. Its design and dimensions are likely to remain the same, and the iPhone SE (2022) can also retain the Touch ID button. This will be the updated successor to the iPhone SE (2020) model. Apple last month introduced the iPhone 13 range with a promotion display on the latest A15 Bionic chip, upgraded cameras and pro models.
A Macotakara blog says the iPhone SE (2022) may launch sometime in the spring of next year and it will be powered by the latest A15 bionic chip. The 4.7-inch Retina HD display from the third-generation iPhone SE 2020 model can continue to follow and hold the home button with Touch ID support, the report said. In addition to the A15 bionic chip, the iPhone SE (2022) will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem chip similar to the iPhone 13 series. The report says production will begin in December 2021, and a commercial introduction is expected in the spring of 2022.
Apart from this, the report does not provide any other details about the iPhone SE (2022). Previous leaks suggest that the smartphone may feature a hole-punch display with thin bezels. Leaked renders claim that the design of the iPhone 12 series may be similar to that of a flat frame phone. On the back, the iPhone SE (2022) renders show a single camera sensor with LED flash. This is similar to the iPhone SE and iPhone SE (2020).
It is said to work on an additional iPhone SE variant that Apple may launch in 2023. This model will have a 6.1 inch larger screen than the ceiling found on current 6-inch iPhone models.
