Shimran Hedmeyer was in good form during the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season in Dubai on Monday. After DC scored 28 off 18 balls to help them to an unbeaten victory, an ecstatic headmistress ran on the pitch to jump on the back of fellow West Indies Twain Bravo. The win helped Delhi top the table with 20 points from 13 matches, while Chennai are second with 18 points.

DC, who set a target of 137 for victory, scored 139 for 7 in 19.4 overs. Bravo, who bowled the final over, was bowled by Rabada in the fourth over. This is the first ball of a South African fast bowler.
Shikhar Dhawan, meanwhile, added 39 runs off 35 balls with 39 fours and two sixes.
Hedmeyer’s 28 runs include two fours and a maximum.
CSK scored 136 for the loss of five wickets in the first 20 overs, with Ambati Rayudu scoring a half-century.
Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
DC still have one league game left and will face RCB in Match 56 on Friday. Meanwhile, Chennai will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 53rd match of the series on Thursday.
