Former England captain Michael Vaughan praised Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and said he was a “perfect T20 cricketer”. Jadeja has been in good shape lately. The 32-year-old’s contribution to both bat and ball this season has played a key role in CSK’s path to the playoffs. Wigan, speaking on Cricketbus Live, highlighted Jadeja’s all-round skills, while naming him the right choice in the short form of the game.
“You know how much I value Ravindra Jadeja. If you make a T20 cricketer – if you make a bat, you go for the power of Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli and the way he handles the ball. But if you want to make a cricketer, If you are just starting out, you’ve started with someone like Ravindra Jadeja because he gives you everything, ”said Vick Cricketbus Live.
“He (Jadeja) is an incredible fielder, he can throw brilliant left-handed spin, if there is an element of rotation on the surface he is just like anyone. Said Van.
In the 20th over of IPL 2021, Jadeja faced 19 balls and scored 64 runs. He hit seven sixes and three fours at a strike rate of 336.
In the current season, Jadeja has scored 212 runs from 10 innings at a strike rate of 152.51.
With the ball, the left-hander took 10 wickets, conceding less than 7 runs per over.
