Lenovo-owned Motorola has confirmed that the Moto E40 will be launched in India on October 12. The budget phone is teased on Flipkart, which confirms its availability on the e-commerce site. The Moto E40 can be seen playing with the rear fingerprint sensor and is teased for having a hole-punch display with a cutout placed in the top center.

It is said to have a 5,000 mAh battery that lasts up to 76 hours of music streaming, 14 hours of video playback and 10 hours of web browsing.

The three-rear camera system on the Moto E40 includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a dedicated depth camera and a dedicated macro vision camera. The 48-megapixel sensor comes with quad-pixel technology, which offers 4x excellent low light sensitivity for sharp and vibrant photos. The rear fingerprint sensor packs with Face Unlock and has an IP52 water repellent design. The Moto E40 runs on Android 11 software for an ad-free and plotware-free experience, and supports a dual SIM slot (up to 1 dB) with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. Flipkart confirms that the Moto E40 will be introduced in Pink Clay and Carbon Gray color options. Price and launch offers for the Moto E40 will be announced on October 12.
