Like OnePlus, Samsung is said to have restarted the standard Android 12 update – after suspending it due to reported issues. It is said to roll for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones.

Last week, OnePlus released OxygenOS 12 based on the original Android 12 for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. That update introduced bugs, including freezing issues and display issues with mobile data connections, notifications and more. The company eventually suspended that release and is now releasing a new software package that promises to fix previous issues.

OnePlus 9 gets the software version LE2111_11_C.39 for Indian users and LE2115_11_C.39 for consumers worldwide, the OnePlus 9 Pro gets the LE2121_11_C.39 in India and the official version of the LE2125_11_C.39 released worldwide on LE2125_11_C.39.

As for changes, OnePlus claims that the new OxygenOS release improves the smoothness of the fingerprint opening, improves the computer’s power consumption, and fixes the issue of screen tearing when it comes to the home screen after playing certain games. This update also promises to fix the issue that caused the notification bar to appear empty for some users. Also, there are improvements in camera and network connectivity.

The OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12 for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro December 2021 also includes the Android Security Patch.

“As always, this OTA will increase. OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and in a few days we will launch a broader release,” the company said.

Despite the bug fix, OnePlus acknowledges that the new OxygenOS release does not address some of the reported issues, such as the auto-fill feature in Chrome and the temporary lack of access to the Ultra HD 48-megapixel primary. Auxiliary camera in Google’s camera app. For these issues, the company said it has a follow-up update plan in place.

In the meantime, users should check out the latest update on their OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Settings > System > System updates.
