Oppo’s ColorOS 12 launches in India on October 11: Everything we know is here

Oppo has announced that ColorOS 12 will be coming to India on October 11th. The new ColorOS update based on Android 12 is coming to more than 110 devices and includes an updated user interface, performance-based features and more.

ColorOS 12 was first re-announced in September this year and also unveiled new additions such as Oppo Quick View cards, 3D Omoji avatars and more. Oppo is coming up with a new gesture mechanism that will give users the size of personal application windows when triggered, as well as how the various windows in the system are handled.

The ColorOS 12 release will be streamed live on YouTube, which you can watch via the embedded link below.

It is not yet known which Oppo phones will get the new update, but we expect it to come first to the brand’s Find X-Series flagship and Renault-Series. Some Oppo F-Series and A-Series phones are also expected to receive the update.

Regardless of which phones are supported, ColorOS 12 is likely to be released in the update module and users on older phones will have to wait a while for the update to arrive.

Oppo Find X3, OnePlus 9 series to get ColorOS 12 beta

Earlier this week, a post on a Chinese micro-blogging site வெய்போ Oppo and OnePlus also suggested bringing the beta version of ColorOS12 to the Oppo Find X3 and OnePlus 9 series, respectively. While the Oppo Find X3 gets an A27 version of the skin, the OnePlus phones are expected to play on a different A.11 version.
