State-owned oil refineries such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise daily fuel tariffs taking into account crude oil prices and rupee-dollar exchange rates in the international market. Any change in petrol and diesel prices will come into effect from 6 a.m. daily.
On Friday, October 8, Brent crude futures rose 0.76 percent to $ 82.57 a barrel.
