Police have arrested the man responsible for the shooting in the SGT University murder case



Police said Thursday they arrested the shooter, 6 days after a 21-year-old fourth-year college student was shot dead by another student near the parking area of ​​SGT University in Puthera.

Lucky, a law student by the name of Bangle, was arrested by the Criminal Division.

At 12.30pm on October 8, Vinith, a fourth-year student of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (PAMS), was shot dead while walking towards his hostel with a group of friends. A murder case has been registered against three students of the same university, Nitesh, Rahul and Himani.

In the FIR, the complainant, a college student, alleged that Vinith was killed due to his friendship with a woman accused in the case.

ACP (crime) Preet Pal Sangwan said, “He has been arrested as the main culprit. We are questioning him about the motive for the murder.
