Against the backdrop of positive global indications, domestic stock markets are likely to open strongly after experiencing losses in the previous session. The trends of the SGX Nifty mark the opening of the index gap in India with a gain of 144 points. At 7:30 a.m., the Nifty futures traded up 174 points, or 0.89 percent, at 17,772 on the Singapore Stock Exchange. On October 6, the BSE Sensex was down 555.15 points at 59,189.73 and the Nifty was down 176.30 points at 17,646.
