The U19 Boys Vinu Mankot Trophy and U19 Girls One Day Tournament are scheduled to start on Tuesday in seven venues.

Heavy showers are expected in Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar along with Indore, Visakhapatnam, Surat, Rajkot and Nagpur.

“Due to incessant rains and hurricane warning issued by MET, the BCCI team is forced to postpone the start of the phase from 28.09.2021 to 30.09.2021,” BCCI General Manager Thiraj Malhotra wrote in his letter. To seven host associations.

Following this change in schedule, there will be no holidays and all matches will be played again from September 30 to October 4.

“There will be no change to the knockout stage and venue. This decision has been made to ensure that all matches are played and there is no loss due to bad weather.

“With the upcoming ICC Under-19 2022 World Cup in mind, we must ensure that players get the maximum opportunity and exposure to showcase their talents and make a serious effort to be selected for the country,” he wrote.
