Sources said on Sunday that the bill to repeal the three agricultural laws would be taken up in the Rajya Sabha on Monday after being passed in the Lok Sabha on the first day of the winter session.
The Farm Laws Repeal Bill-2021 is listed in the Lok Sabha for consideration and passage.
Sources said the bill would be debated in the upper house of parliament after it is passed in the Lok Sabha.
The bill seeks to repeal three agricultural laws that farmers have been fighting for over the past year.

“It is proposed to repeal the above-mentioned agricultural laws. It is also proposed to omit sub-section (IA) of section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 10, 1955). Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020 (22 of 2020),” the bill adds. .
