Three new features of Chinese technology company Realme GT 2 Pro were announced on Monday as “the world’s first innovations” in the smartphone industry. These innovations are related to the design, photography and communication of the Realme GT 2 Pro. Realme has worked with a renowned industrial designer in the past and continued the partnership for the new flagship smartphone. The rear camera system of the Realmy GT2 Pro also features an ultrawide camera with a 150 degree field-of-view. Also, the flagship smartphone has innovative antenna switching technology.
Through a special event broadcast live on its YouTube channel, Realme announced new features for the GT 2 Pro, which claims to be “the world’s first innovations” in the smartphone industry. As mentioned earlier, innovations include design, photography and communication features.
Realme GT 2 Pro design innovation
The first of the three innovations includes the standard design for the paper-inspired Realme GT 2 Pro. Realme has called its new design language “Paper Tech Master Design”. The Chinese technology company has previously partnered with renowned Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa for its master version smartphones and has extended its partnership for its new flagship smartphone. The back panel of the smartphone is made of bio-polymer material by SABIC.
Realme has also adopted a new box that uses less plastics to improve their eco-friendly approach. As a result, the overall plastic ratio has dropped from 21.7 percent to 0.3 percent.
Realme GT 2 Pro camera invention
Realme has introduced a new Ultra White sensor for the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro. The new sensor gets a 150-degree field-of-view, 273 percent higher than the 89-degree field-of-view in the primary-width sensor. Enhanced field-view is enabled using the new FishIe mode. The new camera mode is said to make photos more attractive with its “Ultra-Long Depth of Field Effect”.
Realme GT 2 Pro communications innovation
The new Realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with an antenna array matrix system with the world’s first “Ultra Wide Band HyperSmart Antenna Switching” system, which uses 12 wrap-around antennas that cover all sides of the smartphone. The system is said to support major bands with the same signal strength in almost all directions. This allows the smartphone to automatically select the best network band by evaluating the signal strength.
With an antenna switching system, the Realme GT 2 Pro also gets Wi-Fi upgrade and 360-degree NFC support. The former uses a symmetrical antenna design that improves the signal stability around the phone by up to 20 percent. The 360-degree NFC uses the first two network antennas, which claim to increase NFC coverage by up to 500 percent and sensitivity by up to 20 percent.
