“The Sound of 007”, a documentary reminiscent of James Bond movie music, premiered on Apple TV + next year to mark the 60th anniversary of the Bond ownership.
The official James Bond website announced on Thursday that the project would combine audio recordings of films such as Doctor Who and the famous 007 theme song, as well as interviews and archives of films starring British secret agents. The documentary is set to release next October.
In a hot streaming market, plagued by epidemics, Apple TV + competes with market leaders Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Walt Disney Co’s Disney +.
Since its launch in 2019, Apple TV + has released dozens of original shows and movies, such as Ted Lasso, which won seven Emmy Awards earlier this year.
Apple does not disclose how many people subscribe to its streaming site, which only offers the original programming, making its menu smaller than its competitors.
Last year, Apple TV + teamed up with Showtime The Go-Go for Best Music Documentary at the Beastie Boys Story Critics’ Choice Awards.
