Urban has released a 12-point plan to improve shareholder income and livelihoods

Home Services Market Urban Company has increased the prices of various beauty services amid a number of changes announced today to improve the livelihoods of its service professionals.

In an official blog post on Thursday, October 14th, the on-demand home and beauty services site unveiled a 12-point agenda to improve “partner income and livelihood”.

The growth comes after more than 100 partners – most of them women from the spa and salon verticals, outside the company’s Gurugram headquarters, protesting for better pay, safer working conditions and social security benefits.
