Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that unlike other countries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has involved ordinary people in the government’s fight against Govt-19.
Speaking at an awards function organized by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India here, Mr. Shah said that while the epidemic situation in many countries was volatile, India was gradually moving away from it.
“Many governments around the world have fought against COVID-19, but in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that the people will join the government’s fight against the epidemic. Shaw said.
The Union Minister said that everyone in the world is concerned about India’s population and existing health infrastructure. However, we have experienced relatively fewer losses from COVID-19, he added.
He said India’s economic growth is promising when it exits Govt-19. “The current growth rate is single-digit, but I assure you it will be double-digit by March 22. We made economic reforms just because we tried to win the war against Govt-19. I thought we had to overcome the various challenges posed by the epidemic,” he said. Added.
